The Backstory…

Sagiv Rosano, CEO at Rosano Partners, met current COO Ian Whitman in the Fall of 2011. Bouncing back from a 2009 recession, Sagiv and Ian joined forces to create a new, improved way to do business. Their goal was simple: Redefine Commercial Real Estate. With the aid of mentors, friends and colleagues, Rosano Partners persevered and came back a stronger, more unified company.

 

The Difference…

This time around, Sagiv and Ian stopped chasing every deal and started focusing on creating a company that could stand on its own, regardless of market fluctuations. Creating a thriving company is a risk, especially in the volatile real estate market. How could they change the way agents do business? How could that turnaround their company?

In order to achieve their goals, Ian and Sagiv made their lifestyle a top priority. Our Impact Pledge

Our Corporate Responsibility Plan is a pledge to develop a sustainable and valuable program upholding the cornerstones of the RP Project. Our mission, our team and our livelihood are intermingled with the greater good, a movement beyond ourselves and our careers.

Today, RP’s philanthropic pursuits extend beyond one day annual volunteer duties. Our goal is to work with our community, providing office space, mentorship, valuable business insight and manpower to keep their businesses and dreams alive. Just as our mentors and adversaries pulled us from the trenches , we hope to use our experience to give other small business owners the opportunity to thrive.

In 2014, Rosano Partners formed a team to research and develop a corporate responsibility plan that could revitalize the community through peer-to-peer mentorship. The program is aimed to empower, guide and provide the necessary resources for individuals and small groups looking to start or grow a small business. As we optimize our new space to house the program, we’re busy developing, designing and training our team to deliver timely, actionable and proven course modules. Using elements from our own RP Boot Camp and Speaker Series, our mentorship program is an extension of our own best business practices.

 

Phase 1: The Space

Phase 2: Program Design

The blueprint for small business success hinges on creating, organizing and following a cohesive plan. We will implement business plans, action plans, strategy sessions, execution roadmaps, feedback sessions, troubleshooting, and one-on-one coaching

 

Phase 3: Team Mentor Training

Agents volunteering their time will specialize in their core competency (i.e. marketing strategy, personal development plans, accounting, investing). They will advise on specific modules while keeping an “open door” policy for our mentees.

 

Phase 4: Application Process and Onboarding

We’re aiming to find individuals and groups who embody an entrepreneurial spirit,  have a zest to grow and are willing to roll up their sleeves. Together, we hope the mentorship program will evolve into a peer-to-peer learning experience, where the mentees become our mentors.

As we turn our vision into a viable program, we’re also partnering with non-profits.

They go hand in hand. Life on the go as an agent can leave little time for proper nutrition. That’s why RP has Friday Team lunches with healthy, fresh options. And to kickstart your day, we host breakfast every Monday and Friday.

Have a 16 hour work day ahead of you? It’s 2pm and you’re hitting the wall. Time to lace up your sneakers and go for a walk, run or play some soccer at our nearby park. We haven’t made it mandatory yet, but frequent breaks are highly encouraged.

 

Speaker Series

We continually engage the RP Lifestyle with RP Training. Our speaker series, held monthly, covers a variety of topics ranging from Fitness to Spirituality in Business to Marketability for Agents. Fresh content, guest speakers and a captive audience create the optimal learning environment for our team. We believe a healthy mix of business related and lifestyle related topics keeps our team energized and inspired!

Goodbye cubicles, Hello collaboration.

We’re designing a new space that’s open, urban and sophisticated. Closed offices, stuffy quarters and muted colors didn’t make our design moodboard. Instead, we’re building an office that matches our mission, and cubicles just won’t cut it.

 

Our Future Plans

On-site Fitness (Coming Soon!)

Staying active with a sporadic schedule is a challenge for most hard working agents. Rosano Partners will soon occupy a new space with a fitness center available for all team members.

 

Mobility

Need we even mention the most feared word in LA? Traffic. Fear not, our building has direct access to the underground metro. Still need a lift? You’ll have access to our Zipcar account. Either way, we’ll make sure you make that meeting!

Creating a collaborative environment takes some leg work, but we’re in constant pursuit to satiate our zeal for learning. By onboarding agents seeking both professional and personal advancement, we’ve created customized training programs to continually challenge, improve and inspire our team.

 

RP Continuing Education

At RP, progress trumps transactions. Our workplace welcomes flexibility, change and adaptability. For us, our lives and our livelihoods are intertwined and RP strives to strike a balance between the two.

We’ve developed a fast track program for the Newbies to the Seasoned Professionals. RP Boot Camp is a structured program designed to integrate our technology with best practice methodologies, personal success plans, accountability and weekly training.
